Talents you get according to your Zodaic

4:18:00 PM
Find out your special talent.

image loading...

I’m very good at fake crying and fake laughing. Many people are good at pretending to cry, and they give Oscars out for that. But pretending to really be laughing? Well, that’s a special talent.

We’ve all got a bunch of weird little talents that we may not share with everyone. At Killerkinks, they believe that the random things we’re good at actually have something to do with our zodiac sign.

Do your arbitrary gifts and skills match the ones your sign suggests you might have? Lets checkout each Zodaic and your talents.

Aries (March 21 – April 19) : Genius at the verbal insult, win every board and card game, and can go on and on when it comes to having s*x.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): You should be on The Voice. No one even bothers to argue with you since you win every argument, and you’re so insanely good at doing your own hair that you should have your own YouTube tutorial channel.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): It’s not a party until you get there. You can do dead-on impressions of people, and don’t take yourself too seriously.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): You may be out of your teen years, but you’re a master at video games. You’re a kick-ass writer and could have a black-belt in apologizing.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): You get off on being the center of attention, so it’s no wonder you’re amazing at acting, oral presentations (get up in front of an audience? Yes, please!), and no one can top you when you’re karaokeing Adele’s “Someone Like You.”

Virgo (August 23 – September 22): You could be a professional organizer if you wanted to, but you don’t want to make the professional organizers cry. If you’re an actor and hear that you have an audition the next day, you memorize a character monologue from Shakespeare. By the way, it’s still bragging when you post on social media every time you finish a book in a day.

Libra (September 23 – October 22): You’re the pet-whisperer and can charm the most scared of cats or the yippiest of dogs. You have a great eye for style and everybody is impressed when you tell them that the incredible outfit you’re wearing was put together by you, from items purchased at a garage sale.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21): You’re fantastic at remembering faces, and if your second grade teacher Mrs. Nofisat passed you in a casino in Okoko, you’d remember her. You’re also a very good artist and there really isn’t anything you can’t draw.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): You’re the Martin Scorsese of Vines. If someone called you out for being phuny, you don’t care; puns greatly appeal to your sense of humor and way with words.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): You’ve never met a teacher you couldn’t charm, especially when it was clear you did your homework at the last minute (another of your gifts). You’re proudest of your ability to park your car, no matter how small the space appears to be.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): You’re not shy about speaking your mind and it’s definitely a talent. Every sport you play, you play it well, and there are quite a few people jealous of your ability to adapt to any situation.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Everyone wants to be on your gift-list, for you always choose the most appropriate and yet creative gift out there. You’re always right there with the witty comebacks. How you manage to put the most unlikely ingredients together and make the most delicious dishes is truly Chopped-worthy.

...huge coinscidence with me, i am a Leo.

4 Best things you can do when you can't fall asleep tonight

4:09:00 PM

If you occasionally can’t fall asleep and you don’t know what to do to trick yourself to sleep, here are a few tips to follow.

image loading...

There are many reasons why you can’t sleep when you need to sleep. Stress is one of the most common reasons. It can keep you awake until morning and you may end up feeling drowsy, fatigued, and irritable. You won’t be able to accomplish any task during the day and it can lead to another stressful and sleepless night.

However, stress is not the only reason of insomnia. Sometimes you can’t fall asleep for no reason. You are calm and happy and you don’t have any problems, but you still have difficulty falling asleep. Another reason of insomnia is irregular sleep schedules. It’s important to wake up and fall asleep at the same time every day. Irregular sleep schedules can lead to a chronic insomnia and then you will need to consult your doctor in order to

improve your sleep.

When you can’t sleep, it’s crucial to find a smart activity that will help you fall asleep in a matter of several minutes. Don’t just lie waiting for a miracle. When you can’t sleep and you do nothing, you start worrying about it, or worse, you start overthinking your past problems and events.

Here are 5 smart things you can do

every time you can’t fall asleep.

1. Write a journal

Grab your journal and start writing about your worries, troubles and problems. It’s a good way to stop thinking about them. Once you write them down, start thinking about the happiest moments in your life. Write them down. Now, write down 10 things you are grateful for in your life. Thinking and writing about happy things can help you fall asleep faster, sleep better and wake up happier in the morning. If writing a journal is not for you, take a piece of paper and start writing some happy and interesting small story. Some people claim that it helps them fight insomnia.

Keeping a journal has many wonderful benefits. It can help reduce your stress levels, get rid of negative thoughts, find a better solution to your problem and can help you see the most positive things in your life.

2. Meditate

Meditation is extremely popular these days. It’s one of the best ways to cope with stress, anxiety and depression. Meditation is also known to prevent and fight sleep disorders. It will calm the your mind and body and hopefully help you fall asleep easily and sleep all night long. Praying before bed is also a good option to consider.

3. Read a book

Reading in bed is a popular and effective way to fall asleep faster. If you are not a book junkie, read any book you’ll find at home. 20 minutes of reading will make you feel bored and sleepy and you will drop off to sleep without noticing it. If you are a book lover, avoid reading any interesting and favorite books, or you may end up reading that book all night long. Opt for an inspirational or science book that you didn’t want to read before. My friend says that learning poetries

by heart helps her to fight stress and insomnia. It’s a ridiculous thing to do when you can’t fall asleep, but why not? Give it a try, who knows maybe it will help you too.

4. Play with your pet

When I can’t fall asleep, I love to play with my

cat, talking tom. Lol its my own pet. I usually don’t have enough time to play

with it during the day and even in the evening (though I try to spend at least 20 minutes with it each day), so when I stay awake at night I have some time to play with my beloved pet. It helps me relax, get rid of negative thoughts, combat stress and sleep better. If you have a pet, consider playing with her/him a few minutes before bed.

These are some of the best things to do when you have trouble falling asleep. Don’t take a nap late in the day, avoid watching TV and checking emails and social media before bed. Moreover, avoid any conflicts with your family members. If possible, switch off your phone in the evening, or before bedtime. I hope these small tips will help you. What do you do when you can’t fall asleep?

Do we really need 8 hours of sleep daily?

4:08:00 PM
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),

image loading... ...we are often faced with a hazardous public health problem—too little sleep!

The CDC recommends 7-8 hours of sleep a night, a guideline that’s backed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society. Insufficient sleep has been tied to health conditions such as weight gain, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure , stroke, depression, and an increased risk of death. Despite these risks and recommendations, 1/3 of Americans sleep fewer than 7 hours a night.

A new study, however, suggests that 7-8 hours of sleep a night may not be necessary for optimal health.

"Perhaps You’re Not As Sleep

Deprived as You Think".

Some experts estimate that Americans sleep 2-3 hours fewer than we did before the Industrial Revolution and the advent of artificial light and digital technology.

Computers, smartphones, and television are cited as the primary culprits of insufficient sleep. Sleep experts believe that artificial light from screens and lamps disrupt our circadian rhythm and block the release of melatonin, which brings on sleepiness.

New research published in Current Biology suggests otherwise. Researchers tracked the sleep patterns, light exposure, and temperature exposure of 3 hunter-gatherer societies: the Hadza and San tribes of Africa, and the Tsimané of South America. Analysis showed that all three tribes slept similar amounts (and slept through the night instead of at intervals), despite their geographical distance. The 6½ hours of sleep the hunter-gatherers clocked in on average is fewer than the 7 hours Americans sleep on average.

The hunter-gatherers were also assessed as relatively fit and healthy. Previous research suggests that they aren’t any more physically active than Americans on average, so researchers have ruled out movement as the driving factor in hunter-gatherer health.

Hunter-gatherers either slept outside or in makeshift huts and went to bed 3-4 hours after nightfall. Their only exposure to light was the flame from a small fire. They typically woke up about an hour before sunrise.

Although light exposure didn’t seem to influence sleep patterns, temperature exposure did. They tended to fall asleep once temperatures began to drop, and to wake up once temperatures started to rise, which leads the researchers to theorize that humans evolved to sleep during the coldest hours in order to conserve energy.

In a New York Times article Dr. Watson, the president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, clarifies that although the hunter-gatherers slept for 6 ½ hours, they were in bed for 7-8, a number that matches estimates for Americans.

“Really it’s just the amount that allows people to wake up feeling refreshed and alert,” he

added.

Perhaps the main takeaway from this latest study is that sleep quality matters far more than quantity. In America, 20-30% of people have chronic insomnia. Among the indigenous people studied, only 2% showed signs of insomnia. Over 9 million Americans take prescription meds for insomnia, which suggests that our sleep quality isn’t up to par. Whether or not artificial light and digital distraction really do play a role in that still needs further investigation.

15 Tips to make a relationship stronger

9:35:00 AM

SOURCE : sarcasticgeek.com.ng

You will have to go through tough times together. That’s just the reality of relationships. But the stronger your relationship, the better chance you have of making it. Here’s how you can bond more, delve deeper, and make your relationship as strong as it can be.

#1 Talk to each other.

I know you do talk to your partner. I mean to talk about more than just the weather and how your days were. Ask for details and really listen to them. Usually, people mean an awful lot more than what they say and by talking regularly, you’ll learn to read between the lines.

#2 Show how much you care.

Don’t just say it. Words hardly mean anything if there aren’t actions to back them up. So do nice things and show your significant other they’re in your life because you really want them to be. They’ll be grateful and happy to see it.

#3 Talk about the important stuff.

With this, I mean you have to talk to each other about the deep stuff. Discuss how you feel about major issues and make a point to dig deep. Staying strong is about staying close and this is how to do that. The more you talk about difficult things, the better.

#4 Always work to improve your sex life.

Sex is a major part of any healthy, happy relationship. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. That being said, you’ll have to work hard in order to keep it fun and exciting.

If you’re both always trying to improve and make things better, it’s unlikely you’ll ever be unhappy with things. Talk about what you both need and then follow through with your plans to make it better. The better your sex life, the stronger you’ll be together.

#5 Stay playful.

Keep your fun, flirting attitude alive throughout the relationship. It’s usually present for the first few months and then fizzles out. Don’t let it. The more you’re able to sit back and laugh together, the stronger your relationship will be.

#6 Be romantic whenever you can.

Romance is needed in all relationships. Once again, this is something that’s usually really strong in the beginning but goes away over time. The key to learning how to make your relationship stronger is finding new ways to be romantic and loving toward your partner.

#7 Always show your appreciation.

It doesn’t have to be a big display, but a simple “thank you” can go a long way in making your relationship stronger. When your partner’s actions are appreciated and they know it means a lot to you, they’ll keep doing them.

Plus, the more they do for you, the more you’ll want to do for them. It’s an endless cycle of both of you giving to each other. That can never be bad for a relationship.

#8 Fully discuss your arguments.

Arguing and then forgetting about it is pointless. In fact, it makes things much worse. The more you fight and then don’t figure out the real issue, the further apart you’ll grow. Meaning, your relationship will be very weak. Fully talk about your problems and come to a conclusion about them.

#9 Try getting to know them more everyday.

We change a lot as time goes by. The person you were when you first entered your relationship might be different than who you are today. The same is true for your partner.

#10 Laugh at the embarrassing, silly stuff.

When you’re in a long-term relationship, stuff can get messy. You get very up close and personal with many things about your partner.

You have to be able to laugh off those embarrassing moments and move on. Your relationship will be really strong if you can always do this.

#11 Always go on dates.

Date night isn’t really an option. You have to have them. Even if you can only go twice a month instead of once a week, it’s important that you both carve out time to be intimate with one another.

Making it a priority is essential. Don’t back out on date night unless your reason is really important. And even then, make it up to them.

#12 Do things they love but you don’t.

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices. They might really want to go see that new action movie you think looks awful. Take one for the team and go ahead and do it. They’ll do the same for you. The more selfless you are, the stronger your relationship will be.

#13 Acknowledge when things aren’t okay.

Every relationship has hard times. That’s okay. Be the person who decides to open up and talk about it. Most people have a hard time with this and will end up holding everything inside. That’s the last thing you want. So discuss when things are bad and you want them to be better.

#14 Stay patient and learn how to forgive fully.

Holding grudges really isn’t a great thing for relationships. You have to be able to forgive and then mean it. You also want to work on staying patient with your partner. Everyone has issues they might need to work through before they can make a relationship stronger.

#15 Always try to impress them, no matter how long you’ve been together.

This is one of the best pieces of advice for learning how to make your relationship stronger. Keep trying. Always work on impressing one another. The more you do this, the happier you’ll both be and the stronger your relationship will become.

Learning how to make your relationship stronger is all about working together. You’re a partnership. That means you each have to put forth the same effort in order to make it strong and successful.

Signs a Guy likes you but is Shy to Tell You

2:45:00 AM

Signs a guy is into you but is shy - Gozkybrain Izuka A guy can be hopelessly in love with you, yet, terrified to make the first step. When a girl sees something she wants, aka. a guy, there’s no discussion, she jumps on it. But men are a little different, they internalize everything. So, if you want to know if a guy likes you but is shy, or unsure of what to do, here we go, ladies. Bring out the notepads and listen to #That_Brainwizard. #1. When he’s with you it’s amazing. But when you two aren’t together, there’s not much happening. You guys don’t text each other, and he’s not making too much of an effort. But, here’s the thing, when together, you have the best time. Does he like you? Absolutely. Is he wanting a relationship? No. That’s the difference. What he feels and what he thinks he wants are in two different places since he is unsure of ehat he even wants. #2. He’s keeping the relationship where it’s at. He’s not saying he wants to get into anything serious, however, he isn’t saying he doesn’t want anything. That’s the thing, he’s liking everything where it’s at. He likes you but also doesn’t have to commit to you and for him it’s perfect. He can be your “boyfriend” without the label because he’s scared of committing. #3. His friends don’t hit on you. It’s because they’ve been warned. They all know you’re his girl. Maybe he didn’t tell them, but they’re not stupid, they see it. So, if you talk to his friends but you notice they simply keep it friendly, it’s because they’ve been told to back off. #4. He doesn’t talk about other women. Because there are no other women. Now, fear of committing to you could be because he’s simply scared of messing things up or he’s scared of losing out on other opportunities. So, if he’s not talking about other women it’s usually because there are no other women—right now. #5. No talks about the future. He met your friends, slept over, had dinner at your parents, but he’s not talking about the future with you. If he isn’t bringing up future plans, let’s say, even to travel during the summer, he’s not ready to settle down with you. #6. Hot and cold. When you like someone, there’s a lot of emotional instability going on. You’re nervous, then you’re happy, then scared, then jealous—it’s a lot to go through. He may be super affectionate and thoughtful one minute and then the next he goes completely cold. This is usually because they fight internally with their emotions. He likes you, but he’s not sure what he should do. #7. He wants to get to know you. If a guy spends his time getting to know intimate details about you, he’s not doing it for his health. If he was just a friend, he would care, but he wouldn’t be trying to find out information about you. If he likes you, he’ll dig around to get to know you. #8. He’s always around you. No one, and I mean no one, spends time hanging around people they aren’t interested in. Friends are different, I’m talking about in terms of relationships and intimacy. If he hangs around you all the time, calling you, visiting you—he’s into you. It’s not rocket science. But he may just be too shy to tell you, maybe he thinkd you're a jerk and will explode. #9. He’s there when you need him. There are times when you need a helping hand. Maybe someone in your family passed away or you failed a departmental text, these things happen. But someone who really cares and loves you, supports you through those hard times. If he sticks it out with you during those times, then he truly does care. #10. He doesn’t like other guys around you. He’s jealous. I mean, guys hate to admit that, but it’s true. If he’s all red in the face because you talk to another guy the way he does, he’s into you. Remember, he’s too shy to admit his feelings for you, so don’t hold yourself back from talking to other people. He knows what he should do. #11. It’s in the eyes. You know when someone just looks at you and when someone looks at you. You feel it and see it in the eyes. If he looks at you like a newly discovered diamond, well, then it’s safe to say that he’s into you. #12. He thinks of the little things. Maybe you’re sick, so he brings over vegetable soup. Well, first of all, that’s adorable. Second of all, if he wasn’t into you, he would just call you or send a get well soon SMS at most. It’s the little things to keep an eye on. Those small details show the feelings that they have for you. #13. He compliments you. Now, when I mean compliments, I don’t mean him saying, “Oh, you look banging today.” No, no! Those guys are douche bags, and I recommend you stay away from them. When I mean compliment, he tells you that he likes your hair today or that you’re funny. "Your new hair brought out your forehead, its funny". These comments are genuine. #14. He invites you out. Any party that he’s invited to, you can be sure you’re going with him. If he is in a group in a Lab experiment, he wants you to be in the group. He takes you everywhere he goes. He’s into you. I mean, if a single guy was going to a party, he wouldn’t bring a girl with me. He’d make sure he look single. Him taking you to a party makes people question his status. #15. His friends tell you. Friends are great for finding out information. If his friends come up to you and tell you that he’s into you, well, he’s into you. This usually happens if his friends really like you and want you two to be together. #16. He tells you. Or, he could deny it when you ask him. Listen, I don’t make the rules and guys tend to make things more complicated than necessary. He may get drunk one Friday night and confess to you his feelings, or if you confront him, he may completely deny it. Either way, he’s literally shitting his pants and can’t handle his emotions. Now that you know these signs a guy likes you but is shy, start putting the pieces of the puzzle together. If he’s too scared to make the first move, you can either be the one to do it, or move on to someone else who has the balls to be with you. I hope you find these tips both helpful and useful, take a time out to leave a comment behind. #That_Brainwizard cares.

What you should know about the male penis

2:34:00 AM

Sex, gratifying sexual life, is one of the key ingredients for any successful relationship. A consistent unsatisfactory sex life has the potential to wreck any relationship, hence many men go out in search of answers to every single question on how they can have a magical sex life with their partner, especially those to whom it has been a challenge. With this urgent need for answers comes the readiness to believe theories, some of which are not verified in any objective way, on factors necessary for a magical sexual experience. What you should know about a penis size - Gozkybrain Izuka One of these is the theory that a bigger penis size makes a man much more capable in bed even though his current penis size is normal. As a result, many men search for and experiment with different things on how to increase their penis size. Before attempting anything you've heard on how to increase your penis size, you should know a few things about sex and penis size: 1. You probably have a normal penis size. Although there's no all-convincing research on the normal penis size, available studies show that normal penis size is anything that isn't a micropenis (an abnormality that is noticed at birth and defined as a stretched penile length less than 2.5cm at birth). Many studies show that the average erect penis size is around 13 cm for a young man, but even if yours is 1 or 2 cm shorter (only less than 3% of men have penises below the average size), your sexual performance is not determined by a bigger size. 2. There's no direct relationship between the size of a non-erect and an erect penis. The anxiety about penis size in some men obviously started from the perception of the size of their penis when it's not erect. However, there's no direct evidence that the size of a non-erect penis indicates the size of the penis when it's erect because depending on several circumstances, a penis can vary in size when it is not erect. 3. Sexual Performance has little to nothing to do with a bigger size. A lot of men think the bigger the size the more satisfying their sexual performance for their partner. This is not true however. Only in few cases where some women have vaginal orgasm, which requires deeper stimulation, that a longer penis may play some role in sexual satisfaction. But in most cases, sexual gratification depends totally on the erectile function, duration of erection maintenance and skill at foreplay. The man should also work towards reaching orgasm together with his partner as research has shown couples who attain orgasm together bond much stronger. In addition, do not let the obsession for a bigger make you lose confidence because your normal size is enough to satisfy your partner, just improve your communication with her, and discuss how you can satisfy each other by trying out different techniques of foreplay and positions. If the size of the penis is truly small--though this would have been noticed at birth, during childhood or early teenage years, and medical attention sought--the man should visit a specialist hospital to see medical doctors, especially an endocrinologist and a urologist, for treatment. For men who still want a bigger size, despite having a normal size currently, there are different enlargement options. However, you should know that the efficacy of such treatments are not fully known or guaranteed, and there may be unintended side effects that could be far worse than your initial obsession with a bigger size. If you must attempt any penis enlargement treatment, do so under the guidance of a medical expert. Credit: Kangpe Medical Consultant

How Does it Feel When You Miss Someone

3:00:00 AM

When you miss someone… The reason why I miss people is because the fifty-mile radius around me feels a little bit duller when they are not around. I miss them because I am unable to wish them into existence in the blink of an eye. I want that person to be available. I want them to exist in my personal sphere of friends and family. I miss people because they were with me once, and now they’re not. I can still be with most of the people that I miss, but when I’m not, I feel a little bit lonely. If I am not able to fix this longing feeling, like if a loved one has passed, if a friend is too busy to talk, or if a partner decided to end things, I feel a tad bit hopeless. It might seem shallow in the face of all the bad things going on in the world, but you can’t fight the emotions running through your mind and body when the people you love aren’t next to you. The two ways you can miss someone The word missing is considered a contrany. That means it has two opposite meanings. One is to be connected to something or someone who isn’t there, while the other definition denotes an implicit loss. Either way, you’re met with the same consequences, not having what you miss. When you miss someone in a positive way, it means you are longing for the good things that came out of your experiences. When you miss someone in a negative way, you’re harboring feelings of regret and depression because you want that person back in your life. Whether it’s because of distance or circumstance, you end up feeling the loss and it manifests in ways you might not expect. Gozkybrain Izuka Positive reactions to missing someone… The fact that you miss someone tells you there is a reason why you’re pining for this person. It’s highly doubtful you’d miss the negative aspects of this person, but it also means they touched your life in a positive way. With that being said, there’s always a possibility missing this person will produce positive outcomes in your life. #1 You want to connect with that person again. #2 You realize the value of that person. #3 You use your emotions to develop new ways to process your longing. #4 You reminisce about the good memories more than the bad. #5 You find yourself recreating these positive feelings with new people or the ones who are still there. Negative reactions to missing someone… Unfortunately, there will always be a dark side to missing someone. We can’t help it. Loss is loss. Even if it happened in a positive context, you are still prone to the negative effects of having to say goodbye to someone. It doesn’t matter if this loss is permanent or not. The fact is someone isn’t a part of your day-to-day life anymore. And that’s always sad, isn’t it? #1 You feel sad whenever you think about that person. #2 You focus more on the sadness of the present instead of the happiness of the past. #3 You feel confused and alone, and wonder why that person is not in your life anymore. Much like depression, confusion and loneliness may be expected from missing someone. You may not understand why a person had to leave or you may not be used to not having this person in your life anymore. The best thing to do is to develop a better understanding of the events leading to this person’s departure. That way, you can develop a way to cope and deal with your new situation. #4 You do what you can to get the same type of attention from the same person or someone else. #5 You tend to focus more on the past and the present, rather than the positive outcomes of the future. When you miss someone, it can hurt a lot. But as long as you truly understand why you miss them, and remember that all you need is time, you’ll surely overcome the misery of missing someone you can’t have anymore.

Why Do Some Students Read and Fail?

5:00:00 PM

You'ld wonder why some students read very hard every semester but surprisingly fail their exams at the end of it all right? Such students read almost every day and night and are perceived by their mates as hardworking students who deserve to succeed academically; however, their poor grades keep surprising them and everyone else. If you study hard and your grades seem not to reflect your hard work, then its time you stop working hard and start working smart. Its not always albout how hard, its how smart.

Here are some reasons why some students study hard but fail.

→Upholding hard work while neglecting smart work

Hard work is good but hard work when done smartly is far better and produces greater result. Hard work starts with reading and ends with more reading. Students who uphold hard work while neglecting smart work believe they must read every note, text-book, handout and all materials they can get to be able to pass. On the other hand, smart work involves reading and settling back to self-examine whether what is being read is really required for passing exams. Students who seem to read less but still perform excellently well, have been able to combine smart work and hard work. They are able to smartly figure out what they need to read to pass. They know they don’t have to read all the textbooks in the library to be able perform well.

→Not knowing when it’s enough

Studying drains energy, no arguments. When you become tired while reading it is important you take a break, take a walk or go watch TV before returning to your books. Most students read hard and fail because they stay glued to their books even when they’re exhausted and need rest. In such condition, everything they’ll be reading stops making sense but they continue nevertheless.

→Having difficulty prioritizing what’s important

Not all courses or subjects are read the same. The difficult subjects or courses should be given higher priority. Also, courses that are prerequisites are more important than electives and thus must be given more priority as we study.

→Focusing on “I don’t want to fail” instead of “I want to pass”

This is a mind game. Winners always focus their minds on winning. From personal experience, I see that most students who read more than others but still fail do their readings out of fear. They afraid of failing hence they often say things like: “I don’t want to fail”. Fear is their motivation. The solution to this is to focus our minds on “I want to pass” so I’ll read.

→Putting their books first and themselves second

They read all day and night while they forget about the need to take care of themselves. Haven’t you seen those who read from the first day of resumption to the last week of lectures only to fall sick in the week of exams? They stress and wear themselves out.

→They read all the time instead of at ‘their right time’

There is often the ‘right time’ to read for every student. This is often the time of the day when you are able to grasp and understand more as you read. For some, their right time to read is at night. Students who read hard and still fail read at all times even when it’s not necessary. At the end of the day, they are perceived to be serious and hardworking students but they have no results to show for their labour.

If this issue affects you I hope this write-up helps you to understand how you ought to adjust. Are there more reasons why some hardworking students fail despite their rigorous studies? Tell us about it.
